Hi, I’m Maru! Originally from Cologne, Germany, I’ve made Amsterdam my home since the beginning of 2025 and I couldn’t be more excited about this new chapter.
My journey with pottery began in 2023 and from the very first moment my hands touched clay, I was hooked. There was something magical about the process — shaping, molding and creating something beautiful with my own hands. I knew right then that the corporate world wasn’t for me anymore.
I decided to leave behind the corporate life I once knew and follow my true passion for pottery. Opening my own pottery studio became a dream, and well… here I am!
