This two-day pottery course is designed especially for beginners who are curious about working with clay and want to explore the basics of wheel throwing in a relaxed, hands-on environment.

No prior experience is needed – just bring your curiosity and a willingness to get your hands dirty! Over the course of two sessions, you’ll be introduced step by step to the techniques and tools used in creating pottery on the wheel.

On Day 1, we’ll begin with a detailed demonstration, where you’ll learn how to prepare your clay, center it on the wheel, and start shaping simple forms. Then it’s your turn: you’ll have plenty of time to practice, experiment and create 2–3 pieces at your own pace. I’ll be there to guide and support you along the way, offering tips tailored to your progress.

On Day 2, you’ll return to your pieces once they’ve had some time to set. The focus will be on trimming – the process of refining and finishing the shape of your work.

After the course, I’ll glaze your finished pieces in a color of your choice and fire them for you. Once ready, your handmade ceramics will be available for pickup (you will receive an email 4-6 weeks after the course).

The class will be held in English.
