Weekly Evening Class
Pottery Classes – 5-Week Series
This class is designed for people who have already worked with clay at least once before and are ready to build on their basic wheel-throwing skills. Whether you’ve taken a beginner class or spent a bit of time at the wheel, this series is a great opportunity to continue developing your technique and confidence.
Join me for a focused and hands-on pottery course that runs once a week over five consecutive sessions. During the first four classes, we’ll concentrate exclusively on wheel-throwing. You’ll refine your skills in centering, pulling walls, shaping forms, and creating functional pieces like cups, bowls, or small vases.
Each session offers plenty of time at the wheel, along with individual guidance to help you improve your technique, explore new forms, and troubleshoot common challenges.
The fifth and final session is dedicated to glazing. You’ll learn how to apply glaze to your finished pieces, experimenting with color and surface techniques before they go into the final kiln firing. The transformation after firing is always one of the most exciting parts of the process!
All materials, tools and firings are included in the class fee (including 6 of your pieces). Class sizes are kept small to ensure a relaxed atmosphere and personalized instruction.
If you're looking to deepen your relationship with the wheel and create beautiful, functional ceramics, this class is for you.
The class will be held in English.
