While you sit back in the studio, I will gently press a soft slab of clay over your bump, carefully capturing its natural, organic contour.

This direct impression becomes the foundation for a stunning ceramic bowl—a piece of art that literally takes its shape from your journey into motherhood. It transforms into a beautiful, functional memento for your home, whether you use it as a striking fruit bowl on your kitchen table, a place to hold treasured newborn memories or simply display it as a sculptural centerpiece.

Once the mold is complete, you’ll choose your favorite finish from my selection of glazes. For a truly unique touch, I can also engrave your baby’s name or a meaningful date underneath the piece—a hidden, personal reminder of this beautiful chapter.

The ideal time for this session is from week 32 of your pregnancy. This is when your belly is beautifully prominent, allowing us to capture the most distinct shape.

We will spend about 60-90 minutes together crafting your piece at my cozy studio space in Amsterdam. You can come alone or bring your partner or a friend.
